Thank you for all your support and love for the last four months.
This deviation marks the beginning of a new drawing season.

I had another drawing of Oerba Dia Vanille done in April 2009, this one was finished in March 2011, right after I joined DA.
Like in 2009 her necklace is the hard part of this drawing, which is very time consuming.
Nevertheless Vanille is a beautiful character to draw, I had fun.

This will be my first Critique, so I hope Iam doing a good Job.

I just couldnt believe that this is a Pencil Drawing when I first saw this. But it indeed is one !

4,5 Starst for Impact : The overall Rendering is just breathtaking and one can clearly see where the Artists Focus was on.
So 4,5 Stars for the Impact.

5 Stars for Technique: The Shading and the Highlights are extremly detailed elaborated. The way the Hair is rendered is amazing, its like the Hair is popping off of the Paper.Great Work here !

3,5 for Originality: I "only" gave 3,5 Stars for Originality because this is just a Copy of the Original Picture, but its not meant to be a bad thing.

4 Stars for Vision: All in all this is a very good Drawing and the Time and effort you put into this was absolutley worth it.
It is amazing how fast you became one of the most popular deviants in only 4 month.

Kepp up the good and amazing works !

I caint wait to see more

Overall, I believe this is a very well done drawing. The hair and eyes are what seems to stick out the most about this piece, and I admire the time and effort you put into such things. I haven't seen the original picture in a long time so I don't know if it looks like that in the original, but the only thing I see that's lacking a bit, is the shadow formed from the two necklaces. It looks a tad off, but its not very noticeable.

In the end, this picture of Vanille is beautiful. Keep up the good work! I hope to see more.

On a side note, this is my first critique, so I hope I did a good job with what I know about this type of thing.

Out of all your pics, this my favourite. Vanille looks really cute the way you drew her and that hair technique is amazing! I'm going to start doing some FF drawings soon.
